CourseLeaf CIM (Curriculum Inventory Management) is the system used at UConn to submit, review, and approve curriculum proposals. For information about CourseLeaf Section Scheduler (CLSS), which is used to maintain the schedule of classes, please see the UConn Knowledge Base.
CIM consists of a workflow dashboard and four forms that can be used to submit curriculum proposals:
- Course Inventory Management: Used to submit proposals to edit, add, or inactivate courses.
- Program Inventory Management: Used to submit proposals to revise existing programs or to propose new programs.
- Intent Request Management: When proposing new programs, the Intent Request Management form functions as a “pre-approval” step before submitting a full proposal for a new program.
- Miscellaneous Request Management: Used to submit curriculum proposals other than course or program proposals, such as new topics for existing special topics courses.
For information about accessing and using CIM, see the UConn Knowledge Base. For administrative and technical support, contact the Registrar’s Office. To receive updates about CIM, please subscribe to the CourseLeaf CIM LISTSERV.
